| Jessica’s
Law
refers to the Jessica
Lunsford Act which was passed in
Florida to help protect children
from sexual predators. The Act
was designed to include mandatory minimum
sentencing, lifetime supervision
& electronic monitoring,
increased registration & reporting requirements,
& other measures. Several states already
have passed Jessica’s Law or
equivalent legislation, but many
states still have a lot of work to
do.
