It is an honor and a privilege to be chosen President of the Northwest Orange Republican Women’s Federated. Our club has a rich history of involvement and making a difference in our community, in the Republican Party and in each other. Our past Presidents, Carolyn Booth, Patty Redlich and Linda Laurendeau have created a remarkable foundation for us to build from.

2012 will be watershed year for this Nation. Will we turn this Nation back to its Conservative, Constitutional, Christian roots, OR will we allow this Nation to be dragged irreversibly into a Socialist cesspool by the Liberal progressive elite. Only each of us can answer that question for ourselves. There is a saying that “Eternal Vigilance is the price of Liberty”. This has never been truer than the coming year.

We have an exciting year in store, starting with our I-4 Women Roar event in January. This is shaping up to be a premier event in our area, with Clubs from all over Central Florida planning to attend act as sponsors. Many of the top political players from around the State and Nation have been invited; we are receiving lots of positive feedback. This will be a nearly unprecedented opportunity for women to get involved in the election and get to know the people who currently represent us and the candidates who would like to represent us. We will also continue in the coming months, with candidate and issue forums, exciting and educational lunch meeting programs. We will also be looking to some of our committees, including the Legislative, Campaign and Americanism committees to keep us informed and focused during this Election year and beyond. Information on these and other committees is elsewhere on this website. We will be asking each of our members to think about how you can contribute your time and talent; there will be something each one of us can do.

We will also be looking to grow our club and hopefully draw on fresh talent and ability to allow us to live our mission statement and achieve our stated objectives.
